Applications are invited for the position of Basic Grade Clinical Engineering Technician in the Medical Physics & Clinical Engineering Department of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. The engineer will be expected to apply their ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, electronic, IT problems/issues associated with medical devices using their knowledge, qualifications, training and/or experience in order to ensure maximum uptime of medical device equipment. Also, Provide maintenance services for electro medical equipment in respect of its functional, electronic, optical, electrical and mechanical aspects to a standard of safety, accuracy and reliability consistent with its function and with professional standards.
