The National HSCP Office are now inviting applicants to apply for a place on the HSE Health & Social Care Profession’s

Professional Supervision Training Programme for HSE HSCP Supervisors

Aim: To equip HSE HSCP Supervisors with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for the effective engagement in and delivery of Professional Supervision as part of their role. 

Target Group: experienced HSE HSCP managers and senior practitioners who, as part of their role, have responsibility for the provision of Professional Supervision to others and are themselves actively engaged in their own regular, formal Supervision with a designated supervisor as part of their practice.

The content of this Training Programme is informed by the core principles necessary for effective engagement in and delivery of Professional Supervision in the context of the HSE HR Circular 002/2015 Supervision Guidelines for HSC Professionals. It expands on the eLearning module “Professional Supervision for HSCP” available on www.hseland.ie , providing an opportunity to explore and expand on its components through reflection and practice.

HSE HSCP eligible to apply for the programme are:

Speech & Language Therapy; Physiotherapy; Psychology; Social Work; Play Therapy; Phlebotomy; Medical Scientist; Radiography; Clinical Engineering;  Radiation Therapy; Medical Physics; Orthoptics; Social Care; Dietetics; Clinical Biochemistry; Clinical Measurement (Umbrella for 5 disciplines); Podiatry; Perfusionists; Occupational Therapy;  Audiology, Pharmacy and Counselling.
