Ciaran McGuinness

An Electrical Engineering graduate of Kevin Street DIT, Ciarán joined B.Braun in 2002 as a Service Engineer supporting Hospitals and Biomedical and Clinical Engineering Departments across the country.

Over the past 20 years Ciarán has amassed a vast experience and extensive knowledge on Automated Infusion Systems, especially in terms of Medication Safety and Connectivity. The advancements in technology and evolution of the offering from device to system led to further positions within B.Braun as Applications Specialist, Sales & Product Manager and Business Unit Manager.

Continuing his professional development Ciarán completed a BSc in Information & Communication Technology with Open University in 2006. Most recently, and to compliment his technical qualifications, Ciarán completed an MBS in Business Practice with University College Cork in 2020 graduating with a First-Class Honours.

As of 1^st January 2022 Ciarán assumed the responsibility of Digital Health & Healthcare Technology Lead for B.Braun Medical Ireland. The most recent appointment is part of a local restructuring that is being made to ensure that both the B.Braun technology and support can meet the rapidly changing demands in a modern hospital environment.
