About the Conference

The purpose of the BEAI Annual Scientific Conference is to bring together national and international colleagues working in the field of clinical engineering. As the professional body for engineers bridging the gap between medical technology and the end-user, the BEAI represents members who are primarily hospital based clinical engineers but also have representation from those working in companies that supply technology solutions to hospitals. At the 2024 Annual Scientific Conference, we want to celebrate and highlight the accomplishments of Clinical Engineers in the Irish Healthcare sector.

The full day conference program is being carefully structured to encourage participation and discussion among delegates. More information will be uploaded here as speakers are confirmed.

Delegates will be offered the chance to contribute to the conference in various roles; they can submit an abstract of research recently undertaken for presentation, produce a poster presentation, apply for the Early Career Award and / or vote for colleagues in the Clinical Engineering Healthcare Technology Support Award.
