Please follow this link to apply for membership. Once your application has been processed and verified by our membership officer, you will receive an email confirming your account is active. You will then be required to log in, change your password and pay the membership fee to become a full member.

BEAI membership is open to both private individuals and companies working in the Biomedical / Clinical Engineering sector or similar fields. The BEAI also offers membership to retired individuals formerly working within the industry and student membership for current undergraduate / postgraduate / PhD students studying in the field of Biomedlca / Clinical Engineering or similar.

Both member types have equal rights. 2024 individual membership is €50 per annum. 2024 corporate membership is €400 per annum. As a corporate member, you are a part of a 10 person group under the company umbrella. 

For 2024, it is €50 for the whole calendar year.

This can be for a number of reasons:

(1) Please login to your member profile on the BEAI website and confirm that your postal address is correct.

(2) Your membership has not been renewed in the previous 2 years

The BEAI organises on-line, lunch time education sessions 9 - 10 times per annum. On top of which, the BEAI also hosts its Annual Scientific Conference on the last Friday of September every year. 

All information about upcoming events is published on our website and emailed via newsletters to our distribution list

If you are a current individual or corporate member and would like to attend an event, please go to the event’s page and go through the registration process from there.

You can also follow some links that are distributed in some newsletters. Most events are free of charge for members.

This could be due to the event registration being cancelled, closed or no longer active. This could also be because the membership hasn't been renewed for current year.

Participants at educaiton events should recieve a certificate of attendance. In order to receive a CPD certificate, delegates must complete a Reflective Leanring report through their portal on the BEAI website. Upon review, a CPD certificate will be uploaded to your profile.
