Poster: Biennial Preventative Maintenance Testing On Volumetric Infusion And Syringe Infusion Pumps

As a Medical Physics student in TUDublin, I was given the opportunity to work in a clinical engineering department at Tallaght University Hospital. Here, I underwent training on conducting preventative maintenance testing on the B. Braun volumetric infusion pumps and syringe infusion pumps, under the supervision of Mr Leighton Curry. This testing is completed to ensure the accuracy of the medical device and that they are safe for clinical use. The testing was done on all the pumps in the hospital.
