Poster: Diversity of Nationalities in hospital based Clinical/Biomedical Engineering Departments in Ireland

The aim of this poster was to investigate what nationalities are represented in hospital based Clinical/Biomedical Engineering departments in Ireland.
With a random sample of 23 public and voluntary hospitals in Ireland, it was found that 27.5% of Clinical/Biomedical Engineers are from outside of Ireland. There is a wide diversity in relation to the countries of origin of these engineers, with 13 different countries represented, outside of Ireland.
