Wassenburg Ireland

Wassenburg Ireland has been a leading supplier of endoscopy decontamination and reprocessing solutions in Ireland for over 12 years. Specialising in providing endoscope washer disinfectors and drying & storage cabinets to reprocessing units nationwide, Wassenburg Medical is dedicated to ensuring infection-free patient care through safe, user-friendly, efficient, and innovative reprocessing solutions for hospitals and clinics.

Beyond Endoscopy, Wassenburg Medical Ireland delivers a comprehensive 'Total Solution' that extends to CSSD (Central Sterile Services Department), Ultrasound, and RO (reverse osmosis) Water Treatment. This approach is supported by extensive training programs for healthcare professionals at its Dublin office, on-site training at hospitals, and full-time service and validations across the country.

Innovation

Wassenburg’s endoscope washer disinfectors, DRY 300 storage cabinets, and Process Manager software are designed to reduce carbon footprint, lower costs, and improve efficiency with features such as low energy use, faster cycles, and minimal water discharge. The Process Manager software provides critical data to monitor endoscope inventory, equipment performance, and user interaction.

Wassenburg Medical’s UV Smart Ultrasound solutions eliminate the need for water, chemicals, or consumables, significantly reducing infection risks like STDs and HPV while supporting sustainability. The company was recognized with the 2023 ‘Best in Sustainability’ award.

Through partnerships with ASP Sterrad, Matachana, and SMEG, Wassenburg offers eco-friendly decontamination solutions for CSSD. Additionally, the company supplies EndoTherm reverse osmosis water purification systems in collaboration with Envirogen Group, ensuring European Standard water quality through integrated purification, distribution, and monitoring.

Customer Focus

Customer service is a core aspect of Wassenburg’s business, beginning with the initial client contact and extending through design support to commissioning, operator training, customer services, and system operation and maintenance. Based on customer needs, specific service contracts can be established with Wassenburg.

Servicing of equipment and support is provided by a specialised team of service technicians, including 13 dedicated service and validation support technicians who exclusively support Wassenburg product lines. The state-of-the-art training facility in Dublin is the only Endoscopy accredited user training program in Ireland.
