CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE CLINICAL ENGINEERING HEALTHCARE TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT AWARD 2022

The BEAI Executive Committee calls for nominations for the 2022 Clinical Enginering Healthcare Technology Support Award 2022. The prize will be awarded for the first time at the BEAI Annual Scientific Conference in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on 30th September 2022. The Clinical Enginering Healthcare Technology Support Award is given to Health Technology Suppliers in recognition of the excellent support service for equipment, medical devices and other health technologies being used in the Irish healthcare system using the following criteria:

- Responsiveness: time to resolution of issue

- Technical Knowledge and expertise

- Clinical-Technical Knowledge

- Suitability of documentation: format, timeliness, comprehensiveness

- Patient-Focus

- Understanding of Client Needs

- Innovative Solutions Orientation

- Value for Money

 

Hospital based (non-corporate) BEAI members are being asked to nominate and rank their preferred Healthcare Technology Supplier using this form

The winner will be announced at the 2022 Annual Scientific Conference on 30th September 2022. 

Voting will close on 26th September 2022.

Join us as we celebrate inspiring engineering endeavour and the positive impact engineering has on society in our new five-part video series.

From engineering initiatives that showcase world class innovation and sustainability to leading infrastructure and building and structures projects, we are calling on our engineering community to showcase their engineering skills for their opportunity to feature in our 2022 Engineering Excellence Digital Series.

The projects which demonstrate great endeavour and inspiration will be invited to take part in our new video series. All projects which feature in the series will also be shortlisted for the Engineering Endeavour of 2022 Award and will be profiled by our Media Partners. 

As part of this year’s series, we are once again inviting nominations for the Engineer of the Year. This Chartered Engineer or Fellow will also take part in our new video series and will be profiled in the media. SPARK FORUM - ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & MACHINE LEARNING IN HEALTH

Seed is about enabling you to sow the seed of innovation and cultivate the solution to grow and provide healthcare innovative improvements.

The Spark Seed provides training, micro funding and support to first step innovators to enable you to develop your project.

The Spark Innovation Programme supports a number of successful projects at each Spark seed calling.

What’s in it for you and your team?

All applicants to Spark Seed:

  • Attendance to a design thinking workshop helping you clearly define your problem and look at potential solutions
  • Learn how to pitch your ideas/ project- this workshop is invaluable for any ideas you have now or in the future
  • Further information/ insight into what innovation is and how to be involved
  • Personalised feedback on your ideas

Shortlisted applicants:

  • Opportunities to pitch the problem and potential solution to Spark in order to gain investment- this includes support/ networking opportunities and/or funding of up to €3000
  • Further opportunities to develop the project within Spark
  • Promotion of the project, the applicant and organisation

ATTENTION – A design thinking workshop will be available to all applicants. If shortlisted to pitch, you must have attended a workshop.
