Save the date for the next edition of the BEAI Continuing Education Series.  It will be held on Wednesday, April 27th at 1pm.  The topic is "Critical Care Ventilation" and will be presented by Emilio Carmignotto, Draeger Respiratory Care for Europe.  It will cover:

  • History of Respiratory Care - How was ventilation managed in the past.
  • Current situation - Different ventilation modes and best ways to use them in different pathologies.
  • Future - How interconnectivity and SDC will play a role in mechanical ventilation.

Registration is free for BEAI members and details will be sent out next week.  

 


Rigel Medical have a free guide to NFPA-99 available for download for people involved in testing medical devices.  NFPA-99 establishes criteria for levels of health care services or systems based on risk to the patients, staff, or visitors in health care facilities to minimize the hazards of fire, explosion, and electricity.  Click here to download the guide.
