Dear Colleagues

The BEAI has a long history of running Professional Development events for Clinical Engineers. 

This forum is open to all those are employed within the health care system, HSE and Voluntary sectors,
and whose primary day to day role is in the discipline of clinical engineering. 

No formal membership of the BEAI or any other organisation is required to attend.

The Biomedical / Clinical Engineering Association of Ireland (BEAI) would like to welcome you all to attend our Annual General Meeting (AGM) on:

  • Location: AMNCH (Tallaght) Hospital, Tallaght, Dublin 24

We welcome all members to attend and join in the meeting – and would also love to hear from any current BEAI members or colleagues who would be interested in getting more involved in the organisation – both individual and corporate members.

RIP Notice of Sadie Healy

 Sadie Healy (née Fitzpatrick) of Kilcoole, Co. Wicklow mother our colleague Kieran Healy passed away 26th February 2018, peacefully, at St Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Jim. She will be sadly missed by her loving daughter Ann, son Kieran, grandaughters Alice, Megan, Ellen and Éabha, son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Cathy, sisters, brother, extended family and friends.

Reposing at her home from 6pm until 8pm on Tuesday. Funeral arriving to St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole on Wednesday for 12.30pm funeral Mass, followed by a private cremation service.

Health & Social Care Professions (HSCP) Day 1st February 2018

Dear Colleagues

The plan is to celebrate and acknowledge Health & Social Care Professions in our Health Service on 1st February 2018. This is a day to create awareness, visibility and celebrate the invaluable contribution of HSCPs in the Irish Health Service.

Request for Subgroup Members

Dear Colleagues,

Along with the main Executive of the BEAI, we also have a number of subgroups who do specific work on topics and areas of interest, but who are not required to become directors of the organisation. These groups take on projects and other specific work, and feed back into the main Executive with recommendations, updates and other relevant info.

We are always looking for new members to join our various subgroups – we are currently looking for Expressions of Interest to join the following:

Annual Scientific Conference Survey 2018

Dear Colleagues

The BEAI are currently planning for our 2018 Annual Scientific Conference and would like to hear your feedback on our previous conferences, and your thoughts for 2018.

If you haven't yet submited the survey, please do so before 17th of January. 

The survey should take no longer than 3 minutes and is set up to skip irrelevant questions depending on previous answers.
