Innovation Network - Robotic Process Automation

 

The next meeting of the Public Service Innovation Network will take place on Wednesday 19th of April from 11.30 to 12.30, online via Webex.

 

The title of the event is ‘Robotic Process Automation – reimagine work with your digital workforce’ and will feature presentations from Revenue and the NSSO who have both used the Robotic Process Automation Framework to deliver innovative solutions to business problems, such as creating PAYE registrations for Ukrainian refugees.

 

In addition, Blue Prism (a vendor supplying robotic and intelligent automation solutions) will share more information about the next generation capabilities available to public bodies, such as ICR/OCR and Intelligent Automation, and how they have been used to deliver significant transformation.

Project, Programme and Portfolio Management in the Public Service - spotlight on ePPM solutions

 

This event will take place on Wednesday 29th March, and will be held online via Webex from 11.30-12.30.

The event will focus on project, programme and portfolio management across the public service, with the spotlight on ePPM (Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management) solutions that are available and in use.

They are to be joined by:

  • The Office of the Governments Chief Information Officer (OGCIO); 
  • Transport Infrastructure Ireland; and 
  • Trinity College Dublin

The OGCIO will provide an update on the Microfocus ePPM solution available and public bodies who have on-boarded will share their experiences.  Anthony Duffy, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, will share current practices, insights and lessons learned in project and portfolio management in TII. Emmet Dalton, Trinity College Dublin, will present on lessons learned when starting from zero with ePPM systems.
