@UCCsocialwork, University College Cork would like to inform you of a new independent, unfunded research study at UCC on social media and social work that was established this month. The first work package will examine social media abuse and cyberbullying of social workers (all sectors) in Ireland. This study arose out of their Online Social Work Practice Initiative and a practice tool called Social Media Abuse, Online Harassment and Social Work (see attached) that they co-wrote with practice colleagues last year. Kerry Cuskelly from the HSE was a co-author.  While the study will examine all areas of social work in Ireland, it is likely to be interest to the HSE and front-line social work / HSCP staff.
