The next edition of the BEAI Continuing Education Series will be held on Wednesday, March 30th at 1pm.  The topic is "Medical Device Security Software" and will be presented by Anita Finnegan, CEO of Nova Leah and a recognised world leader in medical device security.  Further details can be found here and registration can be found here

 


Dr. Lesley  Malone,  Radiation  Protection  Advisor from the Faculty of Radiologists, Trinity College Dublin is helping to organise a Radiation Safety Study Day on Thursday, May 12th in the Carlton Airpot Hotel, Dublin.  The draft program is attached.  The organisers are very cognisant that attendees are mainly hospital workers and are doing their best to reduce the risk of Covid transmission.  A large presentation area has been reserved, so there will be no other groups present, and the doors and windows from the main corridor can be opened. The total cost for the day will be €50.  Registration / payment will be online, with details to follow.  

 


The HealthTEC – A*STAR (IBB) WEBINAR SERIES ON IMAGING TECHNOLOGIES - Imaging Technologies in Disease Detection and Phenotyping is being held on 10 March 2022, Thursday ꞁ 7.00am - 8.30am (GMT) ꞁ 3.00pm - 4.30pm (SGT).  For further details, please see the attached flyer.  

 

The closing date for abstract submissions for the European Congress of Medical Physics (ECMP) 2022 is the 11th of March. The conference takes place from the 17th to the 20th of August this year in Dublin and is being jointly hosted by the Irish Association of Physicists in Medicine (IAPM) and the European Federation of Organisations for Medical Physics (EFOMP).
